Welcome to the Border Collie Sangha page.
We are a small Sangha which meets every week in the grounds of Wiston Lodge and from time to time we also offer the opportunity for retreat. We were established following two retreats in 2011 held at Wiston Lodge, a small number of us living and working at Wiston Lodge wanting to continue with a group practice.
We meet on Wednesday evenings from 7.30pm -9.00pm for guided and walking meditation (outdoors weather permitting) and would welcome others to come and join us. If you would like to join us please call Paul 07961 223890 or Meg 07835 362774 for more details.
Wiston Lodge has hosted a number retreats organised by The Wild Geese Sangha (Edinburgh) and other Scottish Sanghas since 2002 and The Border Collie Sangha also runs it’s own retreats here too.
There are large rooms at the Lodge suitable for group meditation for up to 60 people; the cooks are skilled in provision of simple vegetarian and vegan meals using fresh and, where possible, locally sourced ingredients. The beautiful grounds are perfect for Walking Meditation whatever the weather.
